Cloud Drive Mapper (CDM) 3.24.1 Hotfix

Release date: October 26, 2026

CDM client

Enhancements

  • CDM now detects unauthenticated states and reacts to authentication issues reported by providers more reliably, especially when devices resume from sleep with expired authentication tokens. When CDM detects an authentication failure, it attempts reauthentication and continues retrying until successful, allowing the affected operation to proceed.

    Reference No: 45311

  • You can now specify a SharePoint site managed property for CDM to use when naming site folders in File Explorer for Dynamic: SharePoint and Direct: SharePoint site drives. Previously, CDM could use only the default SharePoint site title. This is still the case when this setting is not configured or when the specified managed property does not contain a value for a SharePoint site.

Bug fixes

We have fixed the issue where accessing channels through a Dynamic: Microsoft Teams drive resulted in repeated loading attempts when the associated SharePoint site was locked. CDM now correctly recognizes when a site is locked and prevents unnecessary retries, rather than continuously attempting to load the contents of inaccessible folders.

We have fixed the issue where CDM’s authentication requests were failing when operating behind a proxy and returning HTTP 407 (Proxy Authentication Required) errors. This issue occurred because certain authentication, metadata, and token requests were not consistently honoring the configured proxy settings. These requests now correctly honor the proxy configuration, allowing CDM to authenticate successfully in environments that require proxy authentication.

We have fixed the issue where CDM was closing unexpectedly during the Windows sign-out process. Improvements have been made to how CDM handles application shutdown, preventing unexpected crashes and ensuring a more reliable sign-out experience.

We have fixed the issue that was preventing CDM from starting on some VDI environments while Windows completed background installation tasks. CDM now allows additional time for its components to initialize, improving startup reliability on systems experiencing higher resource usage.

    Reference No: 42497

  • We have fixed the issue where nested SharePoint site and Microsoft Teams folders were not inheriting configured cache settings from their parent drive. This issue caused cache settings to remain disabled for nested locations. Cache settings are now correctly inherited across Dynamic: SharePoint, Dynamic: Microsoft Teams, Direct: SharePoint Site drives that preserve the SharePoint site/subsite hierarchy, and supported Dynamic: Custom drive configurations.

We have fixed an issue introduced in CDM 3.24 where saving an Office document with AutoSave/co-authoring disabled incorrectly resulted in a file conflict, even when no conflicting changes had occurred.
